A Complete Porch Roof Upgrade
The CPM Trades team recently carried out a porch roof replacement in South Croydon, completing both the new roofing work and the installation of new insulation. The project provided an opportunity to upgrade the porch as a whole rather than simply replacing the visible roofing materials. By installing new insulation at the same time, we were able to improve the structure internally while creating a new external roof designed to protect the entrance from the elements.
Preparing the Porch for the New Roof
The first stage involved removing the existing porch roofing and preparing the area for the replacement installation. Good preparation is an important part of any roofing project, helping ensure that the new materials can be installed correctly and that any underlying elements are properly accommodated. Once the porch was prepared, new insulation was fitted before the new roof was constructed and finished.
New Insulation Installed
Insulation formed an important part of this South Croydon project. Installing new insulation beneath the porch roof helps improve thermal efficiency and creates a better protected space between the inside of the property and the external environment. Completing the insulation at the same time as the roofing work also meant that the entire porch roof could be upgraded as one coordinated project.
Two-Day Turnaround
CPM Trades completed all of the work within two days, including preparation, insulation and the new roof installation. Working efficiently allowed us to complete the project quickly while ensuring that each stage received the attention required. The property now benefits from a newly constructed porch roof with improved insulation, providing a cleaner finish and a more robust long-term solution.
